3582 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury!
We have some exciting news! We now have 2 locations. We purchased Mountain View Farms, 11.5 acres located at 3582 Hebron Avenue, (by Bailey Road) It's the old Malnoti farm, last owned by the Sestero Family. Established in 1890, it holds a lot of history. With a little bit of work, we will establish a farm stand and Pick Your Own business ready for this season. We will open in May with our gorgeous hanging baskets and 100% cedar mulch in bags. In the stand, we will carry our own farm made fruit pies, fresh baked or frozen, our award winning pesto, jams and pickles. Thru the season we will have PYO strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, apples, pears, peaches and plums. We will have several acres of vegetables that will be harvested to sell in the stand. At Christmas, we will have an incredible selection of our own hand made Christmas wreaths, cemetery logs and CT grown Fraser Fir Christmas Trees. Follow us on Facebook and watch us grow!
Honor Box Season on Woodland Street!
We are taking a bit of time off from the stand but we have set an honor box by the register for self service. We have left a price list next to the box. The stand is open everyday from 9 am to 4 pm as long as the weather is not icy. Please call ahead to confirm. (860) 659-0294. We still have apples ($15 / 1/2 bushel), jams, pickles, pesto and frozen pies. We plan to re-open in late April when the flowers begin in our greenhouses.
Celebrating 101 years! We hope you were able to attend at least one of our farm dinners to celebrate our birthday. They were a huge success and have inspired us to continue with them in 2012!
